The Jandakot Jets Junior Football Club was founded in 1997 with its original home ground being Anning Park in Jandakot. The Club moved to its current location at Atwell Reserve, Brenchley Drive, Atwell in the year 2000, at the request of the City of Cockburn with the offer of new clubrooms.

The Club takes part of its name (Jets) from its proximity to the Jandakot Airport. To follow on from this theme all JJJFC Auskick Teams are named after types of Aircrafts ie: Bombers, Concords, Hornets, Tigermoths and Avengers to name just a few.

From small beginnings the Club has grown to be the largest Junior Football Club in the South Fremantle Football Club District with over 700 Male and female children (from 5 years to 17 years) playing football.
